Joshua Lee Goodale, 38, of North Charleston, S.C., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Joshua was born on December 11, 1987 in Charleston, South Carolina, son to the late Shawn Michael Goodale and the late Linda Chattman Goodale.

Joshua was a loving brother, uncle, and a cherished member of his family. His kind heart, unique spirit, and the memories he created with those who loved him will remain in their hearts forever. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Joshua is survived by his two brothers, James Goodale (Misty) and Michael Goodale (Mandy); his sister, Amanda Stillwell; five nephews, James Goodale II, Trent Goodale, Tony Stillwell, Taden Stillwell, and Sean Stillwell; one niece, Savanna Goodale; two great-nephews, Kaysen-James Lewis and Trent Goodale Jr.; one great-niece, Magnolia Stillwell.

A memorial service celebrating Joshua's life will be held on Tuesday, September 1 st at 5pm located at North Palm Church, 7138 Cross County Rd, North Charleston, SC 29420. The suite is named "Portal".

Joshua's life may have ended too soon but the love he gave, the memories he created, and the place he holds in the hearts of his family and friends will live on forever.
