Joyce Viard Rowland

Joyce Viard Rowland, 80, from Mt. Pleasant, SC formerly from North Charleston SC was born July 12, 1942 and passed away January 23, 2023.

Joyce was a lifelong and devoted member of Park Circle Presbyterian Church until she took residence at Sandpiper Nursing Facility.

Joyce is predeceased by her parents Edmond and Evelyn Viard. Her daughter Tammy Rowland Bennis and son in law Keith Bennis.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories, son Kenneth M. Rowland (Rebecca) and grandchildren Zach and Erin. Her loving and most devoted sister Janet Hultin and her children Chrissie (William) Hopkins, George Smyly (Norma Thomas), Donnie (Linda) Hultin and Tracy Moore. Joyce's nieces and nephews David Steele, Danny (Katrina) Steele, Ginny (Jack) Luster, Wanda (Roy) Cavazos, Charlie (Amy) Rowland and Christy Cosgrove and many great nieces and nephews.

Kenneth and his family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Janet Hultin, Chrissie (William) Hopkins for their profound dedication to Joyce throughout the years. The family also thanks all the nurses and CNAs that provided love and care to Joyce for the last decade of her life.

The family will have a private Celebration of Joyce's life at a later date.
