IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julie Lynn
Proveaux
December 29, 1966 – February 21, 2026
Julie Lynn Proveaux, 59, passed away unexpectedly Saturday February 21, 2026.
Julie was a devoted daughter, sister, partner, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose love knew no limits.
Julie loved her family fiercely. If you were loved by her, you were truly blessed—because she loved with her whole heart. She gave herself completely to the people in her life, always putting family first and making sure those around her felt supported, valued, and deeply cherished. She was the proud mother of her daughter, Krystal Chattman, and son-in-law, Donnie. She was also a loving mother in every way that mattered to her son, Brian Grasty, and his wife, Destiny Clayton. Julie’s love was not defined by biology but by the depth of her heart, and she embraced Brian as her own.
Nothing brought Julie more joy than being “Grandma” to her beautiful grandchildren: Harley, RaeLynn, Madison, and Meridian. They were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Julie was incredibly passionate about her work. No matter where she worked, she poured her entire heart into her job. She believed in doing things the right way and always gave her very best. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.
She is survived by her partner Eric; her daughter, Krystal Chattman and husband Donnie; and her son, Brian Grasty and wife Destiny Clayton; her father, Bill Turner; her mother, Lois Turner; her sister, Amy Turner; her brother, Robbie Turner and his wife, KaTrina; grandchildren, Harley, RaeLynn, Madison, and MeridianShe also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews: Jessica Walter and her husband, Alex, and their daughter, Karsyn; Caleb Turner and his wife, Courtney, and their daughter, Mia; Brittni Turner and her children, Aiden, Bailey, and Charlotte; and best friend Stefanie Auclair and husband Mike; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Julie’s legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, devotion, and passion. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through the family she cherished above all else.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Chapel of Ladson, 3231 Ladson Road, Ladson, SC 29456.
