Kathy Pierce Blair

Kathy Pierce Blair, 70, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. Kathy was born June 30, 1952 in Norman, OK. She graduated from the Roper Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1983 and worked many years as a nurse. She loved her time as a nurse especially providing extra love and support to her patients in the nursing home. 

Kathy enjoyed crafts, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and dog, Bama. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry T. Pierce, Sr. and Patricia Ann Pierce, brothers, Jerry Jr., Jamie, Jace, and sisters, Anna, Janice, Sharon and Linda. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Carlton Blair, daughter, Carla Blair Wayman (Jamie), two grandchildren, Evan and Ella; three sisters, Lisa Barker (Graham), Kim Corbett (Robert) and Karen Hames (Chris, late); brother, Jeff Pierce, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice supporting cancer research
or mental health.
