Mr Kristopher Kassman Field, 51 of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 after a 3 year battle with cancer. He fought bravely with great courage. 

Born on March 5, 1972 in Englewood, NJ is the son of Jody Leff (Field) and Neal Kassman.  Married November 11, 2006 to Jennifer Garnett with his daughter Chelsea "Gumba" by their side. Their 17 years of marriage brought them 2 beautiful children (Kristian and Kyler), who he had called his "Best Buddies".

As a Massage Therapist, over 25 years. Kris helped to heal others and provide them with a better quality of life. Kris was also, an extremely talented artist, which would be considered "God-Given" talent by many. His gift came by naturally. His creative artworks encompassed murals, paintings, pencil portraits and sculptures. He definitely had an artistic eye. 

Kris career experiences extended to being a Surgical Technician for many years; an Orthopedic Sales Representative : and most recent, he was a Sales Representative for Coloplast. His personal experience helped to connect with many he served. In all of his career experiences, he was intelligent, well-spoken, funny, caring, compassionate and could connect easily with anyone and everyone. In general, an amazing spirit!

Kris enjoyed being on the water, watching sunsets at the boat landing, kayaking, throwing a frisbee, cooking , dancing and being with friends and family. He WAS the life of the party!

Kristopher is predeceased by maternal grandparents Harmon and Marion Field ; and paternal grandparents Irving and Lottie Kassman.

Kristopher is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Jennifer Field, Chelsea Field (Daughter), Kristian Field (Son), Kyler Field (Son); Elizabeth Barber (Sister), Kristine Muldoon (Step-sister), Jody Leff (Mother), Brian Leff (Step-father),), Neal Kassman (Father), Susan Kassman (Step-mother), Vaughn Lewis (Nephew), Randy Field (Uncle), Madison Field (Cousin), Banks Kennedy (Grandson), Harbour Kennedy (Granddaughter).

Kris will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and joy. A creative soul, he brought life to every gathering. And he cherished every moment with his friends and family.

The celebration of life will be held at "The Snider's Marina", Kris' favorite place, where he could be found with his closest friends, children and his 2 dogs, Kylee and Khloe.  March 2nd from 2pm to 5 pm, 708 Sonny Boy Lane, John’s Island SC 29455.
