Krystyn Leigh-Ann Swanson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Krystyn Leigh-Ann Swanson, who left this world on July 18, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on March 17, 1990, in Joplin, MO, Krystyn was a vibrant soul whose warmth and laughter touched the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her. Krystyn was a dedicated Scale House Operator at Carolina Waste, where she brought her industrious spirit and commitment to excellence to the world of waste disposal. Her colleagues admired her work ethic and her ability to bring joy to even the toughest of days.

Beyond her professional achievements, Krystyn cherished her role as a mother to her beloved daughter, Aubrey Swanson, and took immense pride in nurturing their bond. She is survived by her father, Brian Harrington; her stepmother, Michelle Harrington; her grandfather, Mark Harrington; her brother, Preston Choate; her sister, Jordan Harrington; and her precious daughter, Aubrey, who will forever carry the light of her mother's love. Her "Love Bug" will forever miss and love her. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and cherished the moments spent with those she loved. Purple was her favorite color, and daisies always brought a smile to her face. She loved watching Grey's Anatomy and Big Brother, especially when she could enjoy them with Aubrey. The beach at sunrise was one of her favorite places, offering her peace and happiness. She also had a fascination with true crime, spending countless hours reading books and listening to podcasts on the subject. These special interests and treasured moments reflected the warmth, curiosity, and unique spirit that will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Krystyn's journey is a testament to the beauty of life, love, and familial bonds. While she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to dwell in the hearts of those who loved her deeply.

In remembrance of Krystyn, funeral services will be held at 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC, where friends and family will gather to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. The date and time will be announced, and we invite all who knew and loved Krystyn to join us in honoring her legacy.
