Linda M. Benn (Massey) of Summerville S.C wife to the late Raymond C. Benn ( Ray) of 38 years, entered into eternal rest on January 2 2024, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
 
Born September 14, 1959 in Miami Florida Linda was the daughter to the late Giles and Priscilla Massey.
 
Linda graduated high school in Miami Springs Florida in 1978. She went on to become a bookkeeper at various positions.
 
She became mother to her first born child Jeremy Massey in 1980 in 1985 she met her late husband Raymond who served in the United States Navy from there. She went on to have more daughters; Shaunna Benn (1985)Charlene Carmichael (1992) and Jolene Benn (1994).
 
Linda was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed her animals, breeding dogs, watching birds, playing cards on weekends with her close friends and spending quality time with family.
 
Linda is survived by her aunt Rose Marie Polinsky, her son Jeremy(Heather) Massey, Daughters Shaunna (Mathew) White, Charlene (Dennis) Carmichael, Jolene Benn. Her Grandchildren Austin, Dustin, Cyeaven, Frances, Deveon, Jyrii, Kalaya, Ta’leyah, Braden Jaylaohnna, Caleb and Taylor. Her great grandchildren Zayden Rosario and Cyeaven R Benn (Jr). Her village: Cindy, Donnie, Brian, Emily Jay, Clayton, Rosie, Jr, Gabby Ms. Venisha. And many, many others.
 
In addition to her parents, she was also preceeded in death by her late husband Raymond C. Benn; her brother, Michael J Massey (Mike) ; and sister, Deborah A Leleux (Debbie).
 
Linda’s motto in life was an open door policy. She believed that it took a village to raise a child.(blood or not.) And as long as you were willing to help yourself, she was willing to offer a hand up.
 
May her Beautiful Soul, rest in peace and her Legacy live through us.
 
Burial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
