Lynn Sostrin, 79, of South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Lynn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. She had a joyful spirit and a special gift for making people feel welcome. Lynn brought people together and left every room a little brighter with her smile and laughter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lou; her son, Michael; her daughter, Lauren; and her sister, Arlene. She was a caring mother-in-law to Amanda and Jeff, devoted and energetic Bubbe (aka grandmother) to Blake, Abby, Camden, Bev and Vivian, and delighted in every opportunity to be fully present with those she loved.

Lynn lived an active and generous life. She enjoyed volunteering and participating in community events, taking daily walks with friends, relaxing at the beach, shmying, dancing, reading, games, Broadway shows, and traveling. She cherished time with others, lovingly hosting gatherings for family and friends, and happily joining her grandchildren and granddogs in enthusiastic play. She was always ready to help and served as a wonderful role model of kindness, compassion, and joy. Lynn will be deeply missed and remembered as someone who made the world a better place. 

A celebration of Lynn's life will be held for family and friends on May 2nd. Remote access will be available via Zoom meeting, and we hope to record it. If you haven't received access details by May 1st, please contact Lynn's family for details.
