Macteer "Mackie" Manigault

Macteer “Mackie” Manigault, 56, of Ladson, SC, entered eternal rest on July 25, 2025. Born on October 18, 1968, Mackie was a man known for his vibrant spirit, easygoing nature, and deep love for his family and friends.

Mackie was a proud Christian who lived with a generous heart and a great sense of humor. He spent much of his life working in construction and brought the same hard work and loyalty to his job as he did to his relationships. Outside of work, Mackie enjoyed hanging with friends, shoe shopping, and cheering on his favorite football team—the Dallas Cowboys—with unmatched passion.

He is survived by his loving mother Deloris G. Baylock and father Michael Manigault (Ruthie), two devoted sons Antwon Kenley(Kirstin) and Jamar Sanders, four cherished granddaughters, siblings Michelle Manigault, Maurice Manigault (Deceased), and Micheal Allen, and his dear niece and nephews. Along with a host of family and friends. Mackie will be remembered for the laughter he brought, the love he gave, and the way he showed up for those he cared about.

Mackie’s absence leaves a space in our hearts that no one else can fill, but we find comfort knowing he is at peace. His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
