Margaret Elaine Moon

Margaret "Elaine" Moon went home to be with Jesus on May 6, 2025, after battling numerous health issues for many years.

Elaine was born to Archie and Katherine Cook on September 29, 1959, in Columbia, SC. She was a loving wife, daughter, mom, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her smile, laughter, and spirit were truly contagious. She lived for the Lord, her family, and friends.

She leaves behind her husband, Samuel Moon, of 35 years. Her children, Clint Carr (Lorena), Kristin Carr (Steven), Bryan Bobo (Ashley); her brothers, Ron Cook & Steve Cook (Crystal) and sister-in-law Anna King; her grandchildren, Adalyn Carr & Wyatt Carr, Kinsey Tweed & Bella Rivers; Finley & Hannah Bobo; nieces and nephews, Colby, Tiffany, Chandler, Cody, Chad (Brenda) Ashley (Dan), Sara (Matthew), as well as great nieces and nephews, and many cousins and other family she was so fortunate to have been blessed with.

Her service will be held at Luray Christian Church, 71 Fitts Street, Luray, SC 29932 on Saturday, May 31, 2025 @ 11:00 am. Celebration of Life planned in Charleston and more details to follow at a later date.
