Maria Lopez Davis, 79, of Hanahan, S.C., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2022 surrounded by her family..

She leaves to cherish her memories 10 children: Emmanuel David(wife Rosalisa David), Margarita Evaristo(husband Norberto Evaristo), Marilyn McMasters(husband Thomas McMasters), Elizaldy David(wife Ledinia David), Magda Del Acqua(husband Michael Del Acqua), Miriam Mariano(husband Roel Mariano), Albert David, Lot Pineda(husband Eddie Pineda), Lorna David, Alvin David(wife Maggie David), 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Susana Alcanta(husband Tony Alcantara) and brother, Leopoldo Lopez.

Maria loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and helping others. She was a great mom and great grandmother, a very thoughtful and loving person. She enjoyed dancing and singing “Love Me With All Of Your Heart” by Engelbert Humperdinck. She liked to dress up and look good everyday. She also enjoyed crabbing, fishing, cook outs and picnics with family. Maria left us beautiful memories. She had a heart of gold. Her love is still our guide. She will always be in our hearts forever.
