Marilyn Linda (Lewis) Young, 73, of Awendaw, SC, passed away on May 18, 2026. 

Born on August 26, 1952, Marilyn was a loving mother, very proud Nana and devoted sister. She was known for her kindness and love she gave to her family.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lewis; her mother Janie P. Lewis; her brother Robert Lewis: and her sister Catherine Lewis.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters Shakira (Tara) Young and Angel Gomez. She is ,also, survived by her sisters Carolyn Lewis and Janice Lewis; her brother Henry Lewis (Bruz); along with a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great grandchildren and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Marilyn's memory will be remembered in our hearts.
