Mary Lee Bailey

Mary Lee Bailey, at 88 years, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family in Charleston, SC.

Born in Tallahassee, FL, on August 8, 1935, she is a graduate from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She and her husband, Harry Bailey, Jr. were married in 1952 until his death in 2014.

She retired from a career of teaching in the Philadelphia Public School District. She loved to travel, shop for gifts for her loved ones, and spend time with her family. She also stayed healthy by engaging her mind with puzzles until her last days.

She is survived by her sons Harry Bailey, Ill, and Larry Bailey with daughter-in-law Gisella Bailey, as well as her granddaughters Crystal Mullings, with her grandson-in-law Jordan Mullings, and Coral Bailey.

She will be remembered as a generous, compassionate and wise woman of God. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
