Melinda Valdez

Melinda Valdez, 74, of Summerville, S.C. entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 6th 2025.

Born January 2nd, 1951 in Key West, FL she was the daughter of the late Ellen “Susie” Millspaugh and the late Judson Albert Millspaugh of St George, S.C. 

She worked as a high security clearance secretary. She was highly devoted to her faith and her family. She enjoyed wreath making, decorating for the seasons, and spending time with her only grandson Christian. 

She is survived by her daughter Karen Connell Armstrong, her son Judson Louis Connell, daughter in law Melissa Connell, grandson Christian Alexander Connell, sister Kathy Kimball and her sons Gregory Ryan Kimball and Shaun Kimball, and extended family. 

She was preceded in death by one sister, Melissa Behling, and brothers Gregory Millspaugh and Theodore Millspaugh. 

A memorial celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Knightsville Methodist Church in Summerville.
