Michael John Glenn, 67, passed away on October 27, 2026, after living with early-onset dementia for nearly eight years.

Mike was born on January 16, 1959, in Minnesota and grew up in the Minnetrista area alongside his four siblings. His childhood was spent on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, where he enjoyed swimming, boating, and spending time outdoors. His father was a veterinarian, and Mike often assisted him with surgeries and caring for animals, fostering a lifelong love for animals.

Mike was a kind and compassionate man with an especially big heart for children and animals. He devoted his professional life to helping children and families, spending many years working in Child Support Services for Hennepin County and the State of Minnesota.

An active and athletic person, Mike enjoyed golfing, bicycling, playing sports, and attending yoga classes with his daughter, Jenna. He was also a devoted animal lover who adored his chihuahua, Buddy, and Jenna's four pugs, especially Hazel, with whom he shared a special bond.

Above all, Mike was an extraordinary husband, father, and friend. He had a remarkable way of making everyone around him feel loved and valued. Whether family, friends, or neighbors, everyone who knew Mike adored him. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to lend a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. His warmth, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering kindness touched countless lives.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Jahne; daughter, Jenna (Ben) Hayes, and Jenna's brothers, Tony and Ben (Nicole) Heath; siblings, Joseph (Jennifer) Glenn, John Glenn, and Patty (Chris) Kregness; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and other cherished family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jeanne Glenn, and his twin brother, Jim Glenn.

Mike will be remembered not for the illness that took so much from him, but for the remarkable man he was throughout his life. His kindness, compassion, generosity, and boundless love for his family will forever be his legacy.

To know Mike was to love him, and the world is a little less bright without him in it.
