Nancy Noreen Gruber

Nancy Noreen Gruber, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the age of 79, with her son Matthew and daughter Bonnie at her side.

Born on February 2, 1947 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Nancy moved to New York as a young adult, married, and raised her family on Long Island. 

Nancy is preceded in death by Ben Glick (Father), Laura Glick (Mother), Wlodzimierz (Bob) Gruber (Husband). Nancy is survived by her son Matthew Gruber and daughter Bonnie Gruber-Goldman, son in law Jayson Goldman, son Mark Gruber, grandson Jeremy Gruber, and his wife Annalynn Gruber, great granddaughter Clare Gruber, close family friend Melissa Blom, her beloved cat Petunia, and many dear friends she considered family.

A celebration of life will take place in September on Long Island, details to be shared by her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helen Keller Services for the blind.
