Nancy Marlene Hawkins

Nancy Hawkins, age 92, passed away on July 12, 2025.

Nancy was born in Newberg, Oregon to Halick Isom Matherly and Lottie Maude Ricky Matherly.

Crocheting, reading her Bible daily, puzzles and, especially, camping and fishing with her husband and family. She was, also, was a volunteer at the local hospital for more than 15 years. She was a very active member of her church when she lived in Bend, OR, where she and her husband retired.

She was a member of the American Bible Society, Alliance for Retired Americans, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Lydia Baptist Church of Summerville, SC.

She was preceded in death by  Herbert Hawkins (husband), Halick Matherly (Father), Lottie Matherly (Mother), Herbert Wayne Hawkins (Son), Lottie Matherly (Mother), Vivian Beck (Sister), Donna Mourer (Sister), William Matherly (Brother), Mickie Caldwell (Sister).

Nancy is survived by Bonnie Brockett (Daughter) and Jeff Brockett (Son-in-law); Kathy Godin (Daughter) and Denis Godin (Son-in-law); Denice Hawkins (Daughter-in-law); 7 Grand children; 10 Great Grand children; and 3 Great Great Grand children.
