Patricia Ann Helmueller
Born on May 23, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina, Patricia was a daughter of the late John Christopher and Mary Meyers.
Patricia was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She attended Blessed Sacrament School through the eighth grade and graduated from Bishop England high school. In 1977, she and Bernard began to foster children. Over the next eight years, they helped to take care of 15 different children, in addition to their children at home. She lived and worked in the Charleston, West Ashley, and James Island areas until she and her husband moved to Summerville, in 2006. Patricia was a very active member in the local sorority, Beta Sigma Phi for forty years, and was also an active participant in four Red Hat groups and a local "TOPS" group.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents: Chris and Mary Meyers.
Patricia is survived by husband Bernard Helmueller, son Paul Helmueller, daughter-in-law Becky Helmueller, son Gary Helmueller, son Eric Helmueller, daughter-in-law Erin Helmueller , daughter Tammy H. Funnell, son-in-law Robert M. Funnell, daughter Shari Helmueller, grandson Michael Myers, granddaughter Angela Myers, 13 additional grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her brother John Daniel Meyers and his wife Debbie Meyers.
