Paul Joseph Pfentner

Paul Joseph Pfentner, aged 85, passed away on August 9, 2025 after years of debilitating back pain, a long battle with COPD, and CML.

Paul was born in Swormville, NY to John and Agnes Pfentner. Paul married Kathy Pfentner on May 5, 1962 in St. Mary's Church, Swormville.

 He was preceded in death by John Pfentner (Father), Agnes Pfentner (Mother), and his sisters Dolores Killion and Mary Daigler. And is survived by his brother John. Paul was a loving father of 5 (Paul, Brian, Michele, Darlene, and Michael). He was a proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren (Jason, Sarah, Zachary, Eric, Madison, and Lauren) and 3 great grandsons (Liam, Henry, and Hudson). 

A celebration of life gathering will be held by the family on a date still to be determined in Leesville, SC. A Catholic mass will be held at St. Mary's Church is Swormville, NY followed by a graveside service on a date still to be determined.

Paul owned his owned his own landscaping business for over 50 years. He was a die-hard lover of the Buffalo Bills, a great big bon fire, and hunting. Paul's proudest achievement was become a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was infamous for his bear hugs. He loved his family fiercely who loved him back just as much.
