Shirley Lydia Johnson

Shirley Lydia Johnson, 89 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 13, 2025. 

Born on June 28, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio, Shirley was the daughter of the late Jason Kinsey and Margaret Archer. 

Shirley served as a judge in Goose Creek for close to 30 years before she retired about nine years ago.

She loved to bird watch, especially the hummingbirds that would visit her azalea bushes. 

She is survived by her son, Damien Daville, her granddaughter, Kristine Linder, her grandsons, Jason Smith and Joshua Taylor, and a host of great grandchildren. 

Shirley will be remembered in a private ceremony by close friends and family.
