Kay found happiness in the simple things she loved most. She enjoyed singing karaoke, spending time with her beloved dogs, shopping, and taking road trips. Whether she was singing her favorite songs or laughing with family and friends, she lived life with enthusiasm and brought joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Duron and Vermelle Price, and her beloved brothers, Randy Price and Tony Price.

Grice; her grandchildren; other close extended family members; and her lifelong best friend, Audrey McCarty.

Although Kay had not seen her children in many years, she loved them dearly and carried them in her heart. A mother’s love never fades, and her hope and affection for them remained constant throughout her life.

Kay and Audrey shared an extraordinary friendship that spanned many years, filled with shopping trips, road trips, laughter, and countless treasured memories. Their bond was a true blessing that will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Samaria Baptist Church in Batesburg, SC.

“Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they shared, the laughter they inspired, and the love they gave so freely.”

Kay will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close in the hearts of her family and friends.
