Suzanne Marie Kaiser

July 27, 1947 — February 4, 2020

Suzanne Marie Kaiser, 72 of Charleston, SC passed away on February 4, 2020 at her home. Suzanne was born July 27, 1946 in Port Huron, Michigan.

Suzanne's father was in the Navy which allowed the family to live in many different cities and countries. She graduated from Fort Allen High School in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She also graduated from Palmer College where she was selected to Who's Who in American Junior Colleges. She attended the College of Charleston. Suzanne was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Throughout Suzanne's life she was involved with the Footlight Player's in the sixties and seventies and enjoyed attending Spoleto Festivals since they began. Suzanne easily made many friends through her travels to Ireland as well as a few American trips with Rose Travel. She adored the music of Ireland and attended concerts often, meeting and enjoying the singers of Celtic Thunder. Suzanne loved her cat Luna and was an avid animal lover. Suzanne worked briefly with civil service with the Amy then began work with the South Carolina Port Authority in Charleston, SC until her retirement.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Anna (Mezo) Kaiser. She is survived by many loving cousins in Michigan and across the country. She was a loyal and loving friend to Barbara Dempsey, Nelle Woodruff, Ellen Sapp and Rita Addison.

The family appreciates all of the help through this difficult time. A private memorial will be held in Michigan. Donations may be made to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
