Terry Carlton Thames

Terry Carlton Thames, 75, was born August 23, 1950 in Austin, Texas and passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 in West Columbia, South Carolina. He was a son of the late Orion Carlton "OC" and Carolyn Louise Morris Thames.

Terry graduated high school from the American School of Chicago, Illinois while in Ensenada, Mexico. He then attended Columbia Bible College. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Education he worked as a telephone operator for Southern Bell. Later he worked as an analyst for SC DOT.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Theodore and Sarah Thames, grandchildren, Jeffery and Bruce Stokes, and Ruby, Teddy, Dain and Shull Thames; his siblings, Pam (Fred)Tuggy, Ken Thames, and Cindy (Dain) Kulp. He was predeceased by his parents, O.C. and Carol Thames and daughter, Heidianne Dewar.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Covenant Community Church,
