Thomas Howard Hargrove

Thomas Hargrove passed away on May 19th, 2026.

He is survived by his son, Cameron Hargrove, daughter-in-law Gerri Lynn Hargrove, sisters Catherine Brown and Shari Pickering, 4 grandsons, and 3 nephews.

He was born in Beaufort, SC, and spent the majority of his childhood on St. Helena Island and in Walterboro, SC. He attended Clemson University and Francis Marion University, and achieved a degree in Education. He served 6 years in the National Guard. He had many careers, first as a schoolteacher in Lamar, SC and Columbia, SC, and as a Construction manager, maintenance man, baker, etc.

There will be a private ceremony as he is returned home to the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
