Timothy Allen Jones

May 21, 1955 — December 29, 2013

Timothy Allen Jones of Mount Pleasant, SC, embarked on his new journey Sunday, December 29, 2013. He was born May 21, 1955, to Hoyt Hilton Jones and Mary Agnes Westbury. He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Hilton Jr., and leaves behind his daughter Amanda Elizabeth Jones, son Robert Jones-Stevenson, loving sister Billie Cox, “pickin’ partner” Jim Cox, furry brother “Last Bite Legs”, sweet Miss Kittie, dear friends Jamon Leveille and Dianna Fairbanks, and a throng of siblings, nieces, and nephews. Timmy Jones’ reputation preceded him wherever he went. He was a good ole boy in touch with nature, and he loved the outdoors, fishing, building and fixing things, and just appreciating the grandeur of this world. His sense of humor was one of a kind. He could see things others would miss. He was a philosopher in his own way and helped many with his revelations, and could bring a smile to the saddest face. Timmy touched all who met him and was friend & mentor to anyone who needed him. He felt so much more than he would ever let on, but he loved whole-heartedly, laughed hard, and lived life to the fullest he could. There will be no service. Prayers and well wishes can be sent to Timmy’s loved ones via www.palmettocremationsociety.com, and love can be sent to him eternally. The gracious Palmetto Cremation Society has carried out all necessary arrangements. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all of the sweet angels at Hospice of Charleston for the comfort provided and easing of the great transition for Timmy and his loved ones and, in lieu of flowers, would request that memorials be made to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant.
