Tonya Dunahoe, 67, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2026.

Born in Florence, South Carolina, Tonya was the daughter of the late Samuel Dunahoe and Coraine Dunahoe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Dunahoe.

Tonya was a devoted mother and beloved “Maw-Maw.” She dedicated much of her career to the hospitality industry and was known for her warm personality, quick wit, and ability to make people laugh. She enjoyed gaming, telling jokes, and playing pranks on those she loved. One of her favorite pastimes was watching The Wizard of Oz, a movie she never seemed to tire of.

Above all else, Tonya loved her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and happiness. She will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

She is survived by her loving children: son Richard Voyles and his wife Jody, Cory Voyles and his wife Catrina, Kyle Dunahoe and his wife Summer; and her dear sister, Bambi Higa. She leaves behind a lasting legacy through her beloved grandchildren: Elias Voyles, Kyle Dunahoe Jr., Braylon Dunahoe, Aiden Voyles, Rylee Voyles, Destin Johnson, Chance Johnson, and Emily Banks-Marshall.

Her family will miss her laughter, her pranks, and her fierce devotion, but they take comfort knowing she is at peace.
