Wendell A Crosby, 76 of Cottageville, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. 

Born on December 3, 1949 in Walterboro, SC was the Son of the late Maggie Crosby (Adams) and Wendell Crosby. 

Wendell was preceded in death by his father Wendell Crosby and his mother Maggie Crosby and his sister, Joyce Cox, and brother, Scott Crosby. 

Wendell is survived by his sons Wesley Crosby and Kalin Crosby. 

Wendell loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, and maintain his yard and do other building or maintenance projects. Wendell also farmed for quite a few years and still liked to operate farm equipment if he got the opportunity. He would also use his smoker to try different types of flavor and ways to make ribs and a variety of other items on it. When not doing outdoor things, Wendell enjoyed laying on the couch and watching Hallmark movies. He never met a Hallmark movie he didn't like. He would also watch football and NASCAR and Steve Wilkos. His favorite football team was Clemson.

The Family is planning to hold a Celebration of Life at the deceased's residence of 2126 Rehoboth Road, Cottageville, SC, on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 from Noon until 3pm. The event will be Casual Dress and a Potluck.
