William (Bill) Stephen Ingersoll, age 72, entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2025. His spirit is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bill was born in Burwell, Nebraska on January 29, 1953 to Betty Gale and Robert Burton Ingersoll.
Bill had a Theology degree from Trinity Bible College in North Dakota. He had two Bachelor degrees in Geology and Chemistry; two Master's degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Science; and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He enjoyed a long Civil Service career as a chemist, laboratory auditor, civil and petroleum engineer. He retired in 2019 frin the Department of Interior i Anchorage, Alaska.
Bill is survived by his wife Glenda of Goose Creek, South Carolina. In addition, bill is survived by his sister Jewel Richards and brother Kevin Ingersoll of Buda, Texas. He was survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Burton Ingersoll; mother , Betty Gale Ingersoll: brother, Robert Joel Ingersoll.
Bill was a lover of the word of God. He was deeply comitted to his faith in Jesus Christ. He served in church ministry over the years as a Sunday school teacher, Life Group leader, Crown financial leader, greeter and in intercessory prayer ministries.
He was a devoted and loving husband for over 33 years.
