William Paul Colebank

May 5, 2026, William (Bill) (Butch) Colebank peacefully received his angel wings. Born in Grafton, West Virginia, May 12, 1945 to Hadden and Theo Colebank and grew up in a loving home with brothers Dennis and Bob; whom he has joined beyond the pearly gates of Heaven.

As a long-haul truck driver, Bill met his wife of more than 40 years, Patricia Colebank. These devoted Christians joined their families as one. Will and Rae Anne (daughter) Hopkins: Ally (granddaughter), and Kian and Aspen (great grandchildren). Philip and Crystal (daughter) Hollingsworth: Sam, Dylan and Christian (grandsons). Dan and Brandy (daughter) Sachau: Gwen, Bethany and Luke (grandchildren). Charlie (son) and Tiffany Tharp: Julius, Xavier and Nova (grandchildren), Fryday and Duke (furry sons).

Bill was a dedicated member of Knighstville Baptist Church. He enjoyed time with family and friends; he was loved by all who knew him. Bill treasured NASCAR trips and hunting in Swansea. One of his favorite places was his home hills of West Virginia, where he could be found on the porch with Patricia watching their garden grow and taking walks with the pups. The Perfect Couple, Bill and Pat, taught their family what life and love are all about. No better example of faith, commitment, loyalty, humor and determination.

Celebration of William (Bill) (Butch) Colebank will be held Saturday, 16 May 2026 11:00 am at Knightsville Baptist Church 1970 Central Ave Summerville, SC 29483. Food and fellowship to follow immediately after.
