Linda Ann Wozniak

Linda Ann Wozniak, 69, of Charleston, SC, passed away on October 6, after a brief battle with cancer. 

Linda was born November 8, 1953 to Stanley and Mary Wozniak in Syracuse, NY. After graduating from Corcoran HS she attended OCC, Oswego, and SU obtaining a masters in Library Science. Linda had a short stint as a school librarian in Utica and then the remainder of her career with the Dewitt Library.

Linda spent many years in Syracuse and volunteered with the Onondaga Valley Historical Society. She regularly participated in water aerobics. Her favorite hobby was spoiling her niece and nephews. 

After retiring, Linda moved to beautiful Charleston, SC, living close to her sister Carolyn. She continued with water aerobics but also did chair yoga. Linda volunteered at the Low Country Senior Center. Her new hobbies were mahjong, game day, and attending various theater performances. But her favorite was going to lunch and dinner with friends. She continued spoiling her family. 

Linda's death was preceded by her parents Stanley and Mary Wozniak and her step-father Paul Boyea. She is survived by her sister Carolyn Gleeson and her immediate family Jim, Seth, Abbey, Sarah, Owen, Stephen, and Maggie.

A get together with family and friends will be held at her sister Carolyn's house on October 15, at 1 pm (790 Lake Frances Dr, Unit 5, Charleston).
